Welcome to House of Prayer Englewood
There will continue to be prayer times every week. However, because we do not have our own building the times and locations have changed. Some local churches have been gracious and let us use their facilities to host our prayer times. Please check out our new times and locations.
A letter from our new director, Andy Knuth:
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I’m a Colorado Native that grew up here in Englewood playing Little League Baseball at Miller Field. I’ve seen many changes come about in this community over the years. I’m so thankful that as an adult the Lord has allowed my wife and I to come and minister along side with the churches and ministries in this community.
Aside from living in the Denver metro area, I also lived in the Lexington, Kentucky metro area. I attended Asbury College (now Asbury University) where I studied Bible and Theology. During my time in College the Lord grew me in some exciting ways. I have a very strong heart for prayer and Revival. While attending Asbury a student revival broke out on the campus that saw many come to Christ and filled with the Holy Spirit in powerful ways. After that time I was called back to Denver where I have been praying, networking, and partnering with many groups.
My desire is to see Englewood turned upside down with the Love and Hope of Jesus Christ. A move of God that would restore life, power, and excitement to our Churches. House of Prayer Englewood is a non-denominational para church ministry overseen and supported by 12 churches in the city. Aside from 4 hours of corporate prayer daily we have prayer for the city on Tuesday evenings, Prayer for personal needs on Friday Evenings, and prayer schools on Saturday both for children and adults. We seek to see our churches, ministries, and families here in Englewood to be bathed in Prayer. We want to push back the enemy and see God work miracles in the hearts of many. Please see our website for more information. May Jesus Bless you today!
Andy
